About Andrew
Andrew brings over 20 years of experience within the managed care payer industry, working primarily with integrated health plans on regional and national levels. As a past formulary decision maker across multiple lines of business, Andrew provides an executive level approach to payer strategy by leveraging a variety of perspectives, including clinical, financial, trade relations, trend/utilization management, quality and outcomes. Having worked exclusively within the health plan arena, Andrew’s involvement with drug management spans across pharmacy and medical benefits as well as a variety of reimbursement methodologies and integrated care delivery models. Before joining Precision, Andrew served as Head of Formulary and Utilization Management for Aetna Medicare, where he was responsible for leading clinical strategy, development, and end-to-end administration of drug formularies across all lines of Medicare business. Prior to that, Andrew worked at Cigna and Tufts Health Plan in a variety of areas, including commercial formulary management, value-add program creation, and specialty drug management.
At PRECISIONvalue, Andrew serves as director of the Access Experience Team. He has been involved in numerous projects, including innovative contract design, legislative landscape impacts, Medicare policy and strategy analysis, and payer value proposition development. Additionally, Andrew has led training and contract scenario workshops for field-based account executives and actively participates in various payer research engagements.
